Mrs. Seinfeld…?

I just found it pretty awkward and mildly funny that when doing a Google Image Search while stalking Alison Sodul, I find this image in the top results.

Alison Sodul you sweet temptress you
Thursday, December 20, 2007
Thank you to Cory aka Katrina for this one:
Now that your life is ruined after watching that video and realizing that you will never be with someone as sickeningly perfect in every way as Alison Sodul (singer of A Fine Frenzy)… here’s some more photos. Consider this post a really, really lame teenage-girl-like, obsession-oriented, borderline stalking post. (for those of you who have surely known this woman has existed for quite some time, F-U 1) for thinking that I’m way behind the times and 2) for not telling me about her! What the hell was that ‘merica?!

This is a classic video from a ways back that I just came across again today. Man is it sweet…
Uma, uma, uma.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/ - This is something hundreds of thousands of people have been using for a long time, including myself even, but I figure it is still worth a note. It’s a wonderful time wasting browsing tool.

Is it Christmas?

I have continued to forget to post this incredibly sweet site for the past like… month or so. This is a great resource for you guys who are counting down the days until Christmas!
Dude from Strict Flow apparently “makes it”
Tuesday, December 4, 2007
Thanks to the Pittsburgh City Paper for this one… I don’t know much about this Pittsburgh Slim fella, aside from the fact that he’s apparently from L.A. nowadays. This song is one of those that is clearly bad, clearly stupid, but clearly great. Apparently this guy just signed with Def Jam and his full-length debut album is released today called Tastemaker.
Thanks to the interview Aaron Jentzen did, we know he actually grew up in Greenfield and "cut his teeth playing in rock bands" (nice line dude… yeah) We go on to learn that "Slim" is really Sied from frickin’ Strict Flow who, if you have remotely fancied yourself an advocate of the Pittsburgh hip hop scene in the past few years, you certainly have crossed paths with.
I’ll be honest, it’s pretty sweet to see this guy finally make something happen for himself, even if it is this apparently COMPLETELY different style and image than ever before. Then again, I’ve never met the man aside from a few occasions here and there with no less and no more than an exchange of glances and the eventual nod, so I can’t necessarily critique any "change".
